If you could remember, one Tema based rapper knowns as Kwesi Arthur teamed up with Sarkodie and Medikal to release the remix version of ‘Grind Day‘ chart topping song. However, Ghanaians lambasted Medikal after analysing his verse on the song saying that it’s all ‘noise and trash’.
Form all indications, rapper Medikal seems to have improved greatly after taking into consideration the concern expressed by Ghanaians over his rapping prowess. The is because, his verse on Ypee’s remix version of ‘Meye Guy’ featuring Sarkodie says it all.
‘Meye Guy‘ by Ypee featuring Sarkodie and Medikal is an inspiring song which basically compare and contrast life from two different perspectives. Thus, one’s state of life before and after making it in life. Taking into consideration how society perceive broke people and the rich.
Medikal this time around did justice to the subject matter of the song by not involving so much extraneous lines as compared to his whack verse in Kwese Arthur’s ‘Grind Day’ remix in the voice of Ghana music consumers. Sarkodie on the other hand will never fail to sound controversial on a beat whenever he collaborates with up and coming artistes.
Sarkodie talks about how he made it from grass to grace in the song added that Patapaa would have performed at his funeral if he had not make it in Life. This is definitely an indirect diss to Patapaa Amisty, the crooner of ‘One Corner’.
