2. Allow for breaks and distractions
You should divide even a realistic daily workload into smaller units of time. If you would like to allocate say 3 hours for your term paper, you should incorporate a break after 90 minutes at the latest. Your body switches over into a recovery mode for about 20 minutes.

7. Find a routine
With any new habit, time management will become much easier with practice. Try to keep to the scheduled work hours as much as possible so that you can use the rest of the day freely.
