Netizens blast Akufo-Addo for ‘2024 victory’ comment instead of fixing the country



Social media users have criticized President Nana Akufo-Addo for his assertion that the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) will win the next general election in 2024. They contend that rather than think about winning the next election, the President ought to concentrate on Fixing the country since his party is in power.

They wondered why politicians are preoccupied with winning elections instead of seeing to the welfare of the electorate who elect them to office.

“I am very confident that on the 7th of December, 2024, the new NPP Presidential candidate is going to win the elections of 2024,” President Akufo-Addo declared at the 29th anniversary of the NPP in Accra Wednesday, August 5, 2021, adding that members of the must do all it takes to make winning the election a priority.
