Mr. Ahmad Isah, also known as ‘Ordinary President’, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Human Rights Radio and Television, has advised the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, to punish Abba Kyari, Deputy Commissioner of Police, internally if he is found guilty in the Hushpuppi case.
Isah, who is the presenter of Brekete Family on Human Rights Radio, said this on Monday morning while speaking on the show.
DAILY POST reports that Kyari, who is the Head of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), was suspended over his link to the internet and cybercrime fraudster, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi.

The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, had linked Kyari to Hushpuppi during their investigation.
The FBI had alleged that Hushpuppi bribed Kyari to jail an errant gang member over a fraud deal worth millions of dollars.
Following the revelation, IGP Baba had recommended Kyari’s suspension pending the outcome of investigations.
But Kyari had since denied the allegations but admitted acting as a go-between for Hushpuppi and a local tailor in which the fraudster allegedly made payments.
Reacting to the development, Isah said, “If Abba Kyria is found guilty [in the Hushpuppi’s case], punish him internally instead of taking him to the US. Nigeria police have their internal mechanism to punish him, even the judiciary.
“The FBI is not God. Nigeria is a sovereign nation.”
