Coronavirus: P()rn industry to suspend shoots due to crisis.
The p()rn industry in the United States of America is set to go a two-weeks break after the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) called on the producers and performers of adult movies due to fears of Covid-19 infections.
The plea by the adult film lobby group FSC was to see the entire industry halt in the production of p()rn videos with the motive of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.
However the Executive Director for the Free Speech Coalition, Michelle LeBlanc assured industry stakeholders that though the proposed suspension will last for some time, they are working tirelessly to find new ways of giving some support to workers.
A press release dated March 31 by the leading trade organization FSC, reads;
“FSC is calling for a voluntary shutdown of all adult entertainment productions in the United States and Canada through Tuesday, March 31,”
“We ask that all members of the adult industry stay home as much as possible, leaving the house only for necessities,”
“We all must do our part to flatten the growth curve of this global pandemic.”
“We are working as quickly as possible to develop relief plans, and welcome ideas and contributions,” said LeBlanc.
